Packing

Not much to write about today. I am busy getting things done around the house and packing. The Nichols' family is traveling for a wedding this weekend. We are leaving tomorrow evening so there is lots to get ready. Packing for babies is hard because you never know what they might need so I like to bring it all! I probably won't get any posts in this weekend so I will see you back here on Monday! Have a great weekend everyone!

Garden is a Growin'

We have planted a small garden in our backyard for the second time this spring. It's fun to watch the progression and even better to eat your hard work! We planted corn, lettuce, carrots, beans, tomatoes, egg plant, and bell pepper. We have about 5 small tomatoes, the beans have lots of blooms, the lettuce is starting to come up and 1 tiny green bell pepper so far!

New Stroller!

This weekend we put the girls in their 'Big Girl Stroller' and they did great. We've been using this stroller that the car seats fit into and I have loved that stroller, but I think we are making the transition into this one. I have another stroller that is front to back which we can start using too! While trying it out at severeal stores and around our neighborhood, Joe and I realized it's not as big (wide) as we thought (Which is a huge plus!)

I'm A Week Late....But Who's Counting

The girls are 8 months old...well as of last Saturday! I still can't believe it as every month comes and goes, just how old and big they are getting. Only 4 more months and they will be a year. WOW! What a huge change it has been since they were born Abigail only weighing 4 lbs. 4 oz. and little Chloe at 3 lbs. 6 oz. Now Abigail is over 17 lbs. and Chloe is over 16 lbs. Abby is my screamer, she just learned how and she does it all the time. I sware Chloe looks at me like 'Can you please shut her up...she is sooooo loud'. Chloe can be loud at times too, but she prefers to sit back and take it all in. They are getting to be quite active. Abby rolls over at any opportunity while Chloe enjoys investigating her new favorite toy before she covers it in saliva. What different personalities they have already.

Sorry For Not Posting...

I intended on posting some pictures and vidoes this week but I came down with some sort of bug. It sure is rough when you are sick and have two beautiful girls who need you to be up and about. I'm not feeling 100% yet but today is much better! Here are two videos of the girls enjoying their exersaucers!

Bath Time!

With Grandma Nichols visiting I've had an extra set of hands and been able to take some great pictures of the girls. Bath time is always fun with Daddy! Many laughs, smiles and good times are had. The girls love taking bathes and it shows.

Exersaucer Is A Big Hit!

We purchased two exersaucers for the girls at the Jackpotts (Jacksonville Parents of Twins and Triplets) garage sale a few weeks ago. We put the girls in them that evening and they just weren't ready for them yet. On this past Tuesday evening we tried again and the girls had a blast. They each lasted about 10-15 minutes in it and seemed to really enjoy it. Chloe liked bouncing and looking at herself in the mirror while Abby was most interested in the egg looking toy. They look so big in the pictures not so much like my little babies.

Clean Bill of Health...

We took Chloe to the cardiologist today for her 6 month check-up. When she was born the doctors heard a murmur. This was her second appointment. With much enthusiasm I am proud to announce she no longer has the murmur and was discharged from the cardiologist! The doctor told us Chloe's heart was doing great and they were very pleased. Joe and I couldn't be happier!

Congratulations!

Congratulations to our friends Todd and Kerry who are new parents as of yesterday evening. Todd and Kerry welcomed their sweet baby girl Emily on Tuesday, April 7th after 10pm. Mom and baby are doing great!

Hydrangea Love!

I absolutely love hydrangeas! Check out the beauty I got on Saturday at the Farmers Market. I added it to my collection now totaling four bushes!

Squirrel Funny

I have a bird feeder that the squirrels just can't get enough of. Well last week during one of our many days of rain I caught the squirrel trying to climb the wet shepherd's hook. Maybe I should oil up the shepherd's hook and see if that keeps them off, although our cat Vivian loves to watch them.
