Puzzle

Abby and Chloe love to play with their animal puzzle. Abby discovered an easier way to carry the piece while she crawls. Chloe of course, copied her sister immediately.

Good Morning Baby Girls!

Mornings are one of my favorite times to go it and get the girls up. They flash you that smile because they are so happy to see you after a long nights rest! I took these pictures last week because I could not resist the adorable pjs and the crazy bed head!

Christmas Tree Love...

The girls are in love with our Christmas tree. Well actually it's not the tree itself but the pretty things that hang on it. We have kid approved ornaments on the bottom of the tree and Abby loves to take them all off one by one. Every night when they go to bed I feel like I am decorating the tree again. I have to fix the lights and put all the ornaments back on so we can do it all again the next day. This morning I caught her on camara. This time she was standing up to get a different variety of ornaments. Chloe prefers to take one or two down and investigate/ play with them, while Abby seems to be on a mission to get as many off as she can.

A Not So Happy Greeting For Santa...

On Saturday we took our girls to the annual Jackpotts Christmas Party. The girls had a great time at the party until it was time to sit on Santa's lap. I'll let the picture explain it...

Abby Kisses!

So after a very long day yesterday Abby was fussing for me to pick her up. I did and sat her on my lap on the couch. She leaned into me and puckered up her lips and gave me the sweetest kiss ever. Then she smiled huge! So worth any hard day!

Today we went to Toddler Time at the library and the girls actively participated! They usually would participate for me at home when I would sing the songs but never at the library. They are really breaking out of their shy shells!

I didn't get much Christmas decorating done yesterday but I did get a Christmas present made so I consider that progress.

We're Back...

Okay to be more precise we've been back in J-ville since late Sunday night. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend spent at my parent's house. Abby and Chloe have officially started teething. Abby ran a fever on Thanksgiving day and Chloe had her bad day Saturday and most of Sunday. Poor girls, but on the flip side we are excited about their soon to be appearing teeth. At 15 months it seemed like they were never coming. We think Chloe's fangs will be coming through any day now.

Today I spent the morning putting away my fall decorations and sprucing up a sad looking Christmas wreath (it's not sad looking anymore, only wish I could tie a cute bow...I suck at bows)! Hoping to get some cleaning and Christmas decorating done this afternoon. Tonight is supposed to be a stormy one and Joe is working late, so hoping I can stay motivated.

I love this candle display featured here.

15 Month Check-up

Today we took the girls to their 15 month check-up. Our doc thinks the girls are doing awesome. Abby weighed in at 21 lbs 4 oz and Chloe weighed in at 19 lbs 7 oz. They are nearly 2 lbs apart but the only way you can tell is when you pick them up. Abby is more solid feeling while Chloe is petite. He looked in their mouths for any teeth and he did not seemed at all concerned with their lack of teeth for 15 monthes. He thinks they are going to get the fangs in first. You can see Chloe's are ready (two small white spots) so we think she will get hers first. Abby has definite ridges but no real white spots. We will wait and see. They got three spots today including the H1N1 and took them like champs! We don't have any official walkers yet but they are using their strollers to walk all over our house. Abby can turn herself when she gets stuck on something and enjoys circling the dining table. We've been teaching our girls sign langauage for about a month or so and the girls have really picked up on it. They know the signs for milk, more, baby and eat/food. Abby actually crawled up to me on Sunday and did the sign for milk and when I got her milk out of the fridge she was so happy. I am amazed everyday by how much they undersatnd what we are saying and doing. They know where their tongue, nose, eyes and hair are when asked. They've been picking up more words like hi, eye, cat, Chloe says tiger when pointing to Winnie the Pooh's Tiger. When you ask them if they got mail today they go and look in their little mail box. I could go on and on but I'll save some others for later!

Today I started packing for our Thanksgiving trip down to Grandpa and Grandma's. We leave Wednesday after Joe gets off work!

Sunday at the Park!

We discovered they remodeled a small park near us and had to go check it out for ourselves. The girls were not fond of the swings which seems weird because they loved swinging just a bit ago, but they loved going down the slide and playing in the mulch. Can't wait for them to be running around playing on everything!

Jax Arboretum

Over the weekend we took the girls on their first hike. The weather was beautiful and what a nice breeze we had. We went to the Jacksonville Arboretum which has only been open a year. Its about a 8 minute drive from our house and has a few short hiking trails. It isn't complete yet but it made for a nice short trip. The girls rode in their wagon and fun was had by all. We even ran into another family with twins. Check out some photos from our day.

I Caught Chloe on Camara...

Like I told you in an earlier post this week, Chloe has started walking with her stroller. I caught her last night on our Flip and Abby too! Joe hadn't seen them walk for a few days and was very impressed on how well they are doing. Who knows Chloe may walk before Abby.

Chloe Strolled

Yesterday after watching Abby using her stroller Chloe crawled over to the other one pulled herself up pushed the stroller away and took about 5 steps. She did so awesome! I haven't caught her on video yet but I will!

I took the girls to a play date this morning at a fellow Jackpott's house. She has 10 month old twin boys. The kids played and then we took them on about an hour walk. The weather was awesome! It was funny, my girls are definitely 100% girl...shy, timid and don't play very rough. Her boys were adorable, about the same size as my girls and very happy. I'm looking forward to our next play date!

Our Angels!

Abby and Chloe are going as angels for Halloween. Here is a sneak peek of what the girls will look like tonight. These are from Toddler Time at the library on Thursday! Joe took the day off and we had a great time. He got to see what Mommy and the girls do on Thursday mornings!

Happy Halloween

A little pumpkin humor!

Pumpkin Patch

We took the girls to the pumpkin patch to pick out their first pumpkins. Although this is really their 2nd Halloween, they were way too small last year to do all the festivities! We opted for the little ones that are just their size.

Abby's Strolling!

Abby is getting really close to walking these days. She is balancing on her own and when she gets down from holding onto something she lets go completely. Here she is walking with her baby stroller!

Dancing Chloe

Chloe loves moving to the music. Anytime a good song comes on she takes the opportunity to dance! She will be so cute when she can stand and dance. I can't wait!

All Lined Up

Here are Abby and Chloe playing with their Little People Noah's Ark Animals. Have I told you I love the Little People Collections. Joe found a Little People Nativity Scene and Christmas Village at Toys R Us. Its hard to pick out my favorite because I love them all. I looked at a Little People ride on toy today that was really cute!

Here is our afternoon snack at the coffee table. They like to stand and have their snack now:)
