Ride On Toys!

We bought the girls another ride on toy at the biannual Jackpotts garage sale for a $1! The girls loved it the minute we got it home! We had the pink pony but the little truck is just a bit shorter and wider. This makes it easier for our new learners to balance. They've already mastered the art of going backwards!

Two Hooters...

Hey, hey, hey...it's not at all what you are thinking...last night on our evening walk with the girls we saw two owls. We heard them hooting first. Then we spotted one. Then we realized there were two. They were flying from branch to branch and we were able to get a really great look at them. They were quite large and brown and absolutely beautiful! I haven't seen an owl besides at a zoo in years!

She's a Grandpa's Girl!

Abby has learned how to turn the TV off and on. She is already showing a fasination with electronics which she must get from her Grandpa! She loves to turn it off right at the good part of a program. She thinks it's so funny too! Check her out in this cute video!

Big Girl Hair...

Joe calls these their big girl hair styles:) Don't they look adorable. Too bad Abby won't keep hers in but about 10 minutes tops.

Chloe Sleeping Progress!

I am so happy to be blogging about my Chloe and her sleep progress. She has really made a huge turnaround! Friday and today she went right to sleep in her crib without fussing or crying what so ever. Thursday and Friday night she slept the whole night in her crib! We put Abby in the pack n play in our room so when Chloe woke up we could just let her settle herself without waking Abby. This has worked out great! Thursday night Chloe woke up about 5 or 6 times, cried for a few minutes and then went back to sleep. Friday night Chloe only woke up twice and just cried for about two minutes before returning back to sleep. I have switched them to taking only one nap in the afternoon and this has seemed to help with the problem as well. They both slept from 12:45 to 3:45pm yesterday (3 hours!!!). Thanks for all your thoughts, prayers and great advice! It really helped us get through this difficult time!
