Oh Yoga How I Missed You....


I was a yoga addict before and during the beginning part of my pregnancy. I have been doing yoga on and off for many years. I mostly practiced at home in the comfort of my living room, but I have also participated in classes at the YMCA and at my previous job. I tried to get back into it when the girls were about 4 months old. The timing just wasn't right. I didn't seem to have 45 minutes of uninterrupted time to devote to it. I kept having to stop and that is not enjoyable. I have been slowing getting back to exercising about 3 times a week doing the 30 day shred...which I like to call when Jillian kicks my butt. So on Thursday (my off day) I decided to try some yoga again. I was able to get my 45 minutes of yoga in during their morning nap and even had a few minutes to spare. I fully enjoyed it and realized just how much I missed it. I now plan to do yoga 2-3 times per week because this is me time and I deserve it! Check out one of my favorite DVDs here.
